Managed detection & response
Security on the Secure and Complete plans is the full stack a small business is told to buy and rarely gets: endpoint detection and response on every device, managed detection on the Microsoft 365 tenant, email filtering with phishing and impersonation protection, multi-factor authentication enforced through conditional access, monthly vulnerability scanning and security awareness training with simulated phishing. Alerts go to a 24×7 security operations team, and the containment playbook signed at onboarding says what they may do without waking you.
What is included

Questions about managed detection & response
What happens at 2 a.m.?
A critical alert is acknowledged within 15 minutes by the security operations team, contained under the playbook and, if it needs a decision, your on-call contact is called.
Do we need both EDR and Huntress?
They do different jobs. EDR stops malware on the device; Huntress watches for footholds, persistence and compromised Microsoft 365 accounts that EDR does not see. Secure and Complete include both.
We already pay for Defender. Does the price change?
Yes. If your Microsoft 365 Business Premium licenses include Defender for Business we use it, and Secure is $12 per user less.
