Microsoft 365 & identity
Most of what goes wrong in a small company's security happens in the Microsoft 365 tenant: a forwarding rule, a legacy protocol left on, an admin account without a second factor. We set tenants up against the CIS Microsoft 365 benchmark, keep the configuration under change control, and review it quarterly. Migrations from Google Workspace, on-premises Exchange, Dropbox or another tenant are scoped in a call and quoted fixed price per mailbox and per terabyte.
What is included
- Tenant hardening to the CIS Microsoft 365 Foundations benchmark, documented and re-checked quarterly
- Entra ID: conditional access, MFA, privileged accounts separated and monitored
- Intune: device compliance policies tied to sign-in, so an unmanaged laptop cannot open company mail
- Licensing at Microsoft's published price, right-sized every quarter
- Migrations: Google Workspace, Exchange, IMAP, Dropbox, Box and tenant-to-tenant for mergers
- SharePoint and Teams structure: permissions you can explain, retention you can defend
- Google Workspace supported on every plan for companies that stay
Questions about microsoft 365 & identity
How long does a migration take?
Two to three weeks for up to 50 mailboxes, with the cutover on a Friday evening and someone on the help desk Monday morning. Larger tenants are planned in waves.
Will we lose anything?
Mail, calendars, contacts and files move; the migration report lists item counts on both sides. The old system stays readable until you sign off.
Can you manage Google Workspace instead?
Yes. Device management, security and support are the same. The tenant hardening work follows the CIS Google Workspace benchmark.
